Turn back the hands of time

I was just asked if I sometimes wished I could go turn back the hands of time…honestly, I didn’t have to think much to say a not so subtle NO.  I know it sounds crazy but most people want to rewind time and relive their glory days but I honestly don’t remember having Glory days.

The concept in itself is strange to me. High School glory days = nil. I was smart but not the smartest or the most popular. I pretty much flunked university and don’t have a graduate job lined up. I really don’t see why I would want to relive those days . I don’t even want to relive the last 2 weeks of my life.

So why would you rewind time when you have time in the future to live the way you want to live. If your glory days were so glorious, relish in the fact that you can recreate them – maybe even to greater heights. If like me you didn’t have glory days, then make them happy because life, long or short, isn’t waiting for you to make a decision.

I think people need to realise that the moment you arrive in a time-specific place, time moves. it doesn’t wait for you to relish and relive those days in the past. So no matter how many times you turn back the hands of time, it will move back to the your present/future
